The Arc. For nearly 75 years, The Arc has been at the forefront of the fight for the civil rights and inclusion of people with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD) and their families.
We have fought to close institutions and make life in the community possible. We have opened the school doors for students with disabilities to be included in the classroom alongside peers. We have advocated for affordable health care access, employment, financial security and more. We are at the table for every major public policy fight and advancement impacting the lives of people with disabilities. We still have work to do, but we know we can succeed with strong federal policy advocates working hand in hand with grassroots activists like you.
Disability Rights Ohio is a non-profit corporation with a mission to advocate for an equitable Ohio for people with disabilities.
Since October 2012, Disability Rights Ohio has served as Ohio's Protection and Advocacy (P&A) system and Client Assistance Program (CAP). It is governed by a Board of Directors, primarily consisting of people with disabilities and family members of people with disabilities.
Welcome House, Inc. is dedicated to helping individuals with developmental disabilities live full and rewarding lives by providing a variety of residential services in an atmosphere of a caring community.
DOHCS. Doctors Organized for Healthcare Solutions has over 400 doctors from every major medical center in Cleveland, and specialists from surgery, anesthesiology, radiology, primary care, and medical specialties. Together we serve over half a million patients in our community.

DSANEO. The Down Syndrome Association of Northeast Ohio is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization whose mission is to provide support, education and advocacy for individuals with Down syndrome, their families and communities. We are the primary resource in Northeast Ohio for families and communities regarding Down syndrome, and we work to promote the acceptance, inclusion, and empowerment of all individuals. Our staff envisions a community where people with Down syndrome have limitless opportunities and the ability to pursue their dreams.
The ACLU of Ohio. Utilizing integrated advocacy that cuts across litigation, policy analysis and advocacy, lobbying, community organizing, and public education, the ACLU of Ohio seeks to preserve civil liberties and advance civil rights for each new generation.
Youthability. The Youth Ability program creates meaningful experiences for students with disabilities and at-risk youth.
Empower Sports exists to enrich the lives of athletes with diverse challenges through sports and exercise while promoting kindness, character, and relationships. We believe athletes of all ages and abilities should have an opportunity to participate in the games they love.
