At FADD, we seek to improve the lives of our loved ones, persons with developmental disabilities, through the adoption of laws and public policies that will guarantee health care and other social services. We recognize that the developmentally disabled are but one group who need protection and services, and that the elderly and persons disabled by injury or illness are equally deserving of health care and other services.
FADD was founded in February, 2025 in Northeast Ohio by parents of children with developmental disabilities. Since the adoption of Medicaid in 1965 and the IDEA Act in 1975, our nation has made great strides in caring for and educating persons with developmental disabilities. We will not stand by and stay silent while efforts are made to dismantle this great work.
